It is a rather hefty 40 MB (free) download, but it is well worth it. I’m sure that I’ve never heard such a beatiful sung liturgy in all my life . . .

Not very easy to give you links for Vespers 😦

However here are a couple for you to try

the snag here is that though as far as I can see the Service is complete and I’m no expert ] you need rather more books than you would think to fill in the gaps. The chanters have stands before them with a mulititude of books and they move at lightning speed from one text to another

you could also have a look at

Certainly the early section here is Vespers.

If you can get hold of any Orthodox Prayer books they also have Vespers - I regularly use the Jordanville Prayer Book and the Old Orthodox Prayer Book. You will also need a Psalter for this as well .

of all sacred music I have ever heard, unaccompanied chant or singing in male voices is the most beautiful, and of that, Russian choirs the most sublime. I keep on the lookout for CDs of such and appreciate hearing about them. thanks for the link although I have not the technology to make use of it yet (maybe for Christmas)

It sounds a little like the Divine Liturgy of John Chysostom by Tchaikovsky. Another very beautiful church music.

That may be due to lots of other forums members also trying to download the file, and as a consequence the webserver becoming overwhelmed. You might try again later . . .
