The sight of seven of my children kneeling at the front of the sanctuary before Our Lord, exposed in the Blessed Sacrament led in prayer and song by our amazing new priest. It was Tobias 12, Noah 10, Zachary 8, Ezekiel 7, Isaiah 6, Elizabeth 4 and Gabriel 2! Even Gabe knelt quietly!
Our new priest has done wonderful things in his first week and a half! One of them is to introduce a Holy Hour every morning from 8am till 9. I decided that I would try to get the kids there for 5 minutes before school. Yesterday was the first time and we just knelt in a pew said a few prayers and then left. Today Fr was in the Narthex when we arrived and he took them in, right up to the sanctuary! It was so beautiful I cried!
Some of you may have heard of him Fr Paul Newton, apparently he has had some of his talks on ewtn.

:clapping:  You’re story is absolutely beautiful! How blessed you are to have such a wonderful family. God Bless.

Hello Michelle,
It sounds like you are in the parish of Croydon and yes I know Fr Paul. I thought he was in Geelong. But you are indeed blessed to have him as your pp.
God Bless
GraceAngel.

Yes it is Croydon. Fr Paul has only been appointed till January, while the diocese sorts out some building and parish boundary issues. But we are praying hard that he will be able to stay on once its all sorted. Even if he doesn’t we will have been grateful for the priviledge of havinghad him here for the time we do.

Ya know, I’ve always liked the name Tobias.🙂 it sounds simply lovely.

You know we named him Tobias thinking we would call him Toby right from the start, but we just couldn’t waste such a beautiful name. He is, just now, at 12, starting to be called Toby by his friends and siblings, dh and I still call him Tobias!

Yes, my three boys share names with three of your boys. Plus, we think that we may name our next boy Joshua.
