I could see myself as this kind of mother. I don’t particularly want kids, but if I had one, I would take the best care of it as I could. I’m very introverted and need lots of time to myself (most of the time I’m singing or songwriting) and I’m not very affectionate or effusive. I like kids, and I don’t think they are horrible. I love my nephews and nieces, but I’m not particularly close to most of them. My oldest niece is like me and obsessed with music, so we have bonded over that. I am the cool and exotic aunt who lives in England. 
Would I write an article saying this? Nope. But I have several friends who regret having kids. In fact, one even posted this article on Facebook and said “I am this lady”. It is enough for me to think long and hard before having kids.
