What exactly do you mean by “the new age movement?”

I do really like new age music,

Yanni, Suzanne Ciani and especially ENYA.

I absolutely do not think they are satanic at their core

And as far as crystals and rocks, I have never felt or seen any satanic connection.

Speaking of crystals, as a kid I was interested in building a radio from scratch and had gotten a book on it. One of the main parts that would make it work was a crystal. I forget how it works but it has a scientific basis of course. I have no idea what new age folks do with crystals. I just know that crystals in and of themselves are not bad. If new age people start worshiping or trying to do magic with clay bricks, I am not going to tear down my house.

They were referring to a “crystal diode” that was used as part of the circuit.

I used to make crystal radios with a diode, an ear plug, some thin wire about 32 gauge and a toilet paper tube for use in the tuner, and a couple of other things.

They would still work for AM radio.

Id love to see some videos of any new age people actually performing real magic using crystals…I dont think its possible. However I do think real magic exists, but is something we have lost the ability to do over the years, but thats not saying there may be an old dusty book somewhere that does give info on this, but not mainstream as it once was, or we would see 1000s of youtube videos of teens doing all kinds of crazy things.

I knew some new age people when I was younger, but I never got the impression there was anything evil about it, in fact, I would say the opposite, they are into peace, harmony, not any type of violence, nor have I ever heard new age connected the Illuminati or new world order, that is a very violent society, no way, new agers would back that.

Im not sure about crystals, Ive seen many crystals, but never seen anything supernatural or even special result from use of them…if they do possess some kind of useable power, mankind does not yet understand it…that is for sure!! However I do have a older neighbor who swears by ‘Orgone’ he has these little crystal things all over his yard. in reality, they probably dont do anything, but no different to all those indian dreamcatcher things I see on almost every other car! lol

Well, the Illuminati WAS real. I dont think they are real now, as they collapsed 200 years ago. BUT teir goal for that short time of existence was the one world conspiracy. And I Do think that exists today. Now, that is up for discussion and debate, but I do believe some sort of global conspiracy exists. The fundamental belief in the new age is that God is an energy that people can tap into. They believe that they can become like God by using tools like crystals, reiki, energy healing, yoga, etc. They believe that crystals have an energetic power that can offer healing. They use crystals to assist them in their evolution to enlightenment and awakening. They believe that we as a race are evolving to superhuman development where we will all be our own gods. Its the deception from the garden of eden. When Even was told that eating the fruit would give her the knowledge that God has, so that she could be like Him.

That is really interesting for loads of reasons. Debate we must. The Dark force it be. It does sound like something from Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. They actually believe they will be like God?! Wow! You are right then: straight out of the Bible. This is even worse because it is sheer disobedience in the knowledge of God (or very dim vague knowledge).

Do you think that Yoga practice and things like that are bad? Say for example, if someone is just doing the moves, but praying to our God in humility and just using the moves as prayerful positions to relax for meditation? What is your opinion please?

WELL…it depends. ifv it is for physical reasons and you pray while you do it, fine. But, even if you think it will benefit your christian faith, NEVER do yoga or stuff like that for spiritual purposes. Same with crystals. Study them all you want, geologically. Yoga was created to connect with the Hindu gods (aka demons). The poses are designed to summon different “gods” so each pose is an invocation to a Hindu god. For example, sun salutations invoke the “sun god”.

Avoid yoga altogether. If you enjoy stretching, just get a book on stretching or pilates.

I wasn’t planning on it but I had heard of Christian Yoga and have been a little perplexed that this was apparently within the boundaries of Roman Catholicism (“iffy”, I thought), and then you mentioned it on this forum, so I thought I would get some info. Quarrels among churches, among countries, religions and wars would end because we would see that there is only one God uniting us all. Seeing God in our individual consciousness gives us the spiritual power to heal our ills, limitations and anything else we are lacking. It is our answer to overcome any evil we see in the world today, but we cannot just accept it as truth because it must be proven within our experience. For a holy person to preach these words are not good enough, it is only when we know it in ourselves that we feel the power. There is no power in repeating a phrase because that is only a recitation; in fact there is no power that is not the power of God. What we need is the consciousness of God to express His power through us to enable us to see Him operating universally through others and ourselves, bringing to us what we need to grow and be happy. The kingdom of God is expressed in the harmony and power within.

Well, yes, we can pray with muslims. and jews, and new agers. but think of it this way. we can also pray with atheists, but we still hld our beliefs and know that theirs are dead wrong. they seak the truth, but have not found it. praying with them is not to appreciate their mistakes, but to help them correct them

There is only one god, and His name is Jesus Christ. He is the truth, the light and the way. If people reject Jesus they reject god. Allah is not god, nirvana is not god. New age gods are not god. Jesus is god. it is precisely because there is ONE god that we cannot have the same gods as everybody else.
