The New Catholic Answer Bible (NAB)

The New Catholic Answer Bible (New American Bible) has Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur on the Old Testament, Psalms, New Testament and The Inserts, my question: There’s also a nihil obstat and imprimatur on something here called reference material, what does this mean? I called Catholic Answers, Jim Burnham said the footnotes are not covered in the nihil and imprimatur…so what is refered to as reference material?

The reference material would probably be those Catholic Answer pages interspersed throughought the bible. I have the Original Catholic Answer Bible, and there are quiet a few of them, although I believe the New Catholic Answer Bible has even more.

but the Inserts have their own nihil and imprimatur, separate from the catholic answer pages…
