This is an excellent blog that speaks of the Reform of the Reform for those of you who are interested. It is dedicated to promoting the New Liturgical Movement called for by Cardinal Ratzinger/Benedict XVI in all the sacred arts and in the unity of legitimate liturgical diversity.

So check it out and post your thoughts!

Hopefully, you are speaking of the article in which the Pope reprimands the Neocatechumenal Way. I will respond to that article. It is extremely disheartening that a piece of one of the two pillars of our faith, Sacred Tradition, is being put to the test by a group of “radicals” within the Church.

One, why would such a group modify the most blessed of sacraments without seeking documented approval from Rome itself?

Two, though they have alleged approval from different bishops, why would they not bow to the ultimate authority in Rome on this matter when reprimanded?

Like I said at the beginning, it is sad to see fellow Catholics take it upon themselves to alter such a precious part of our faith and then pleasantly disregard the Holy Father’s request. They, apparently, are looking to be separated from Rome and the rest of the Catholic Church.

It is an awesome blog, I think it should be daily reading for all Catholics in America.:yup:

Does anybody have any thoughts?
I’ve been reading that blog for a couple of months now. It’s a great place to find good, orthodox liturgical information, especially when it comes to references and resources for good liturgy.

Well… the “modern liturgical movement” back in the 50’s did the TLM facing the people on some areas and also prompted the “Dialogue Mass”…

And what happened next… well- a New Mass came into being.

But we are not in the 50-s and 60’s anymore-

Man needs God - needs God- needs a sense of the sacred that the NOVUS ORDO Mass CANNOT deliver.
