The Nonviolent Communication (NVC) program

Hello… This week an all day Nonviolent Communication class is going to be held where I work, (an HIV/AIDS residential facility). We’ve been given the book, “Nonviolent Communication; A Language of Life” to study beforehand. For some reason, I’m not certain the contents align with my Christian (Catholic) beliefs. Is anyone here acquainted with this program? Thanks so much for your thoughts.

Hope it’s not similar to the International Planned Parenthood’s brochure to young adults with HIV and AIDS titled, “Happy, Heathly and HOT!”

This International Planned Parenthood brochure tells teens that they aren’t required to inform sexual partners that they are infected with HIV or full blown AIDS.
