One of the women that sings in one of our 5 Spanish choirs has this thing where her fingertips turn yellow and painful in colder temps.
It’s some kind of syndrome, I forget the name, very painful. She went to a specialist who basically said she really needed to not go outside in the cold Ever. So we switched her to a midday Mass instead of an evening Mass.
But it’s a real thing, he could be physically ill.
OR, his guilt from getting himself tangled in the occult could be weighing on him. He’s got to talk to a priest about this at any rate.
That’s what I was speaking of, earlier, Raynauds.

She’s lucky that it’s “just” Raynauds and they caught it. It’s more common diagnosis in people of French-Canadian descent. Many people in that geneology will think they inhereited it (it can be since it’s a vascular issue) but find themselves facing a much more serious neurogolical issue.

  1. Were you playing around with Harry Potter type stuff?
  2. Have you got all the Sacraments , Confirmation, Reconcilliation, First Communion.
If you do, take full advantage of Reconcilliation, telling the Priest what your hobby was, straight up, in Reconcilliation. Start attending Mass and Reconcilliation as often as possible. Sacraments give us so much Grace.
If not, join RCIA
  1. Under Old forum rules we were not allowed to give medical advice, I think that rule might have changed. There are many reasons that the blood flow to our extremities can become restricted. For example are you a smoker? If you vape, many chemicals , including formaldehyde are ingested. Are you binge drinking ( that’s a big thing with young Aussies). Then more serious illnesses.
Was it simply mid winter, or sudden changing temperatures
In any case see a doctor, give up smoking, etc etc etc.

So how soon can you get Spiritual medical aide from your Priest in the Sacrament of Reconcilliation?

There is no such thing as witchcraft, spells, or curses, but there IS a placebo effect in that many people are cured or hurt by taking a sugar pill if they believe it is going to work. In other words, just pray and don’t worry about it.
Those things do exist.

My apologies for negatively interacting in this thread, especially for attempting to fight with Xanthippe.

I lied about being a psychologist and about being involved with the exorcist in my Diocese. I did so because I wanted to be insulting and condescending towards Xanthippe. I apologize for that and hope you will overlook my weaknesses and forgive me for my pettiness.

Thank you.

Rose, please do not think I am disrespecting you but I do not think what you are doing is medical advice. Listing common reasonable conclusions for poor circulation and recommending one see a professional is not the same as giving medical advice.

I see giving medical advice in the “take some quazi-qazi herb, dance around in your undies 3 times and kiss your toes 10 times.”

I may be wrong, so please correct me, but even on the “old” CAF we were encouraged to direct people who were in need of medical advice to professionals, with perhaps a hint in the right direction here and there. IE. You may want to check your XYZ or ABC.

Your humility and honesty about this are quite honorable.

Your right, demons exist and yes this other stuff exists as well. Why would there be a need to pray at all if there wasn’t. This notion that these things don’t exist are the stuff of secular society.

hey you are not disrespecting me at all. I am not giving medical advice, just listing a few more possibilities. Yep old forum format we had to direct medical advice to the pros.

i wonder if this chatter is up on all his sacraments
