Well, I’ll leave that to the moderators to deal with.
I’m just concerned with where my prayer time is going. There are a lot of deceased people who need prayers.
 
Assuming he’s actually dead, who knows :man_shrugging:t2: The Moderators will have to sort this out. The account was active 24 hours ago.
 
With FB you can designate a survivor to carry on or close out your page. But if the Old Colonel has gone to his reward, I hope they keep his account open.
And if not, he should keep us in suspense a while longer. It’s like, Clue or something.

Says he was Episcopal. The Colonel was Catholic.

I think he’s somewhere having a good laugh.
 
In the new avatar, in the photo the woman is holding, he has a bunch of medals pinned on but he’s not in uniform. She’s holding an umbrella, and it’s overcast. Hes smiling and waving.
Anyway the photo can’t be from Bearself’s Colonel’s memorial, because that was today. And that obit sounds like it was a long illness, not something sudden. Our Colonel never mentioned being sick, did he?

Episcopals are close enough to Catholic (aside from the ones who are into gay married clergy and such ) that it would have been much the same thing.
 
Not the same thing at all. They might say they’re Anglo-Catholic, but not Catholic.

The avatar photo you mentioned looks altered. The picture of the colonel is unusually clear.
 
I can’t remember now if his original avatar was the same as the picture the lady is holding, or not
 
There’s also a strange inset close-up of his arm and watch, at the lady’s right shoulder.
 
This thread, if he meant it as a joke.

Also, I don’t care for him using that grieving woman’s photo…it’s inappropriate even if his photoshop was clever.
