But don’t feel bad. I tried a Mary joke at an evangelical Bible camp once. Blank stares…

Ok, but remember I was 10 years old!

The crowd brought a woman caught in adultery to Jesus and called for her to be stoned to death. Jesus paused wrote in the dirt for a moment and said “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” A hush swept the crowd and their faces fell. Then one woman came to the front, picked up a rock and hurled it! The crowd roared and stoned the adulteress to death.

Afterwards, Jesus approached the second woman and said “Mom, you totally ruined my lesson!”

That is way too funny!

How many Calvinist’s does it take to change a light bulb?

None. God has already decided who is to be in light or darkness.

If the ‘sacrament’ has an outward visible sign and an inward spiritual grace then you are in the one true church.

Baptism: Outward sign = Water. Inward grace = Death to sin and a new birth unto rightousness.

Eucharist: Outward sign = Bread and wine Inward grace = The body and blood of Christ which are truely and indeed taken and recieved by the faithful in the Eucharist.
