The only thing I disagree with about Catholicism

I just made my funeral plans. Body burial was $10,000 and cremation was $5,000. That’s quite a price difference

When we buried my mother , then my father, we found out the difference.

And Dad was retired military, so the military pays for the vault, site, headstone and opening/closing of the site.

Mom was cremated for $3,000. Dad was buried for $10,000.

Also go ahead and plan your funeral Mass, select songs, readings, etc.

Another thing is that no matter how careful the funeral home is, they won’t get all the ashes of a person’s body, and if the deceased was Catholic, it was a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Again, it comes back to treating the body of the deceased with reverence.
