Hi everybody,

Back in August I bought a Playstation 4 to go with the Playstation 3 I’d bought a year earlier. I’m interested in creating a Playsation Network account now, but since you aren’t allowed to change your PSN name (at least for now), I feel as though I’m under a lot of pressure to come up with a good name that won’t sound lame a few years from now. With that in mind, I thought I’d post on here and ask a few people what PSN names they use, and how they come up with them. What kinds of games do people on here play?

I use Excelsis while gaming on PC and Upgrade25 on Xbox. I’d say go with something with meaning to you that won’t lose something.

Coming up with names that sound cool now but seem lame a few years from now is part of what gaming is all about.

I don’t have a PS3 or 4, but I did go through the same dilemma picking out my Nintendo Network ID. “Joe Cool” was already taken.

Why not use your CAF user name or something similar? I like Latin for user names.

Alas, I had created a PSN account already, and thought it was a lame name. I was thinking of deleting it and creating a new account when I thought of a better name, but now it turns out you aren’t allowed to delete a Playstation Network account. I’ve decided that I will simply keep it and cross my fingers that we will be able to change names someday. Who plays Playstation on here?
