Latin Whizzes (or whizzii?),
I’m curious about the word “lapsi” (for those who denied Christ in face of persecution). Is it in that form (Lapsi) already plural? If yes, then what is the singular? And if not then what is the plural, “lapsii”?
On a related note, is the “ii” ending in latin supposed to be pronounced “eee-eye” or just “ee”?
Thanks
