This is not a thread with big words in poetry. Much less, this is not even a good thread to read for those who are looking for phrases or words of inspiration. What it is, however, is a thread of the poetry of Dante and How The Catholic Church Built Western Civilization. “if could we only realize how indebted we are as a civlization of to the Catholic Church”. Author Thomas E. Woods Jr.
Dante is the poet in desperate need of the compation of the divine. For Dante, love is a virtue. And the Virgin Mary personifies virtue. At any rate, before Dante there was the Church teaching and leading Western Civilization. Dante found his inspiration in the Virgin Mary as the Church shared and teached how to have faith as The faith of the Virgin Mary.
