The Pope has an email address--have you ever written to him?

I emailed the Pope once!

He didnt reply, but it was still neat. I have always wished I could just sit down and chat with him some time. Brew him some tea, have a talk.

Definitely email though, I am sure someone important reads them if he doesnt!

I don’t expect him to write me back, but at least he would have a sense of what is going on in America with some of our parishes here…

It would be really cool to sit down and talk with him, beyond cool…no mere words can express it, really. He is such an intelligent man, all of the popes were…like amaingly brilliant. Pope JP2’s intellect was also incredible. These Catholic men are something!

I had a college roomate who worked maintenance for a Polish-American basilica here in Massachusetts. He returned from his weekend work at the parish and was tickled pink. He was in the rectory when the phone rang. Answering it he got the suprise of his life. Imagine picking up the phone and having someone tell you that the Holy Father wants to speak to Father So-And-So.

He said he got to say, “Hi.” I had three Polish roomates those two years. I guess that’s how the Polish Mafia rolled in those days. It’s odd to think of college.

Ah yes, you just reminded me. I sent the Pope an invitation to my wedding. He couldn’t make it. 😦

Actually, come to think of it, he didn’t even RSVP! :eek:

Nope. :nope: But one of our friends did get us an apostolic blessing from the Pope, which I guess is the best present Benedict XVI could have given us. 🙂
