Anybody see Fr. Morris on O’Reilly last night? I’ve had my concerns with his sometimes wishy-washy approach to things (Hannity and Communion, Britney Spears commentary, etc.) but last night he was awesome.
He came right out and said you can’t be Catholic and pro-choice. When pressed by Bill on the question of ‘separating your faith and public life’ and that Democrats like Pelosi, Kennedy, etc. use the reasoning they are upholding the Constitution, Fr. Morris held firm - saying it was smoke and mirrors (or something like that), that argument doesn’t hold water, the Church doesn’t teach it.
O’Reilly pressed again, and Fr. Morris said people can’t define their own type of Catholicism if they want to be called “Catholic”. ** Bingo!**! O’Reilly didn’t seem to like that last comment - it was the end of the interview and was very clear, and Bill seemed irritated *(hitting a little close to home, possibly, Bill??)

Please send Fr. Morris a letter of support for standing strong for our faith and with the Pope if you happened to see him last night!
Bravo!
