I know that. I meant mostly that in many areas of the world, prostitutes are more, um, visible than in most of the US (even in the big cities). At any rate, my point was that male prostitutes do exist, in contradiction to the OP’s claim.

What kind of sin is it, when a reporter deliberately takes an idea from the Holy Father out of context, with the intention of creating the appearance of a new “progressive” stance for the Catholic Church, that results in the spread of serious misinformation on a global scale?

I would not want to be one of those responsible. Because somehow, I think, that if others are lead into sin because of your mis-reporting, you carry responsibility for their sins also. And I already have enough of my own to deal with.
