What specifically has Hart said that ticked you off? I know that he’s said some things to me when we’ve communicated that I found funky. He’s an oddball…He has a heck of a bad reputation even among anglo-catholics.

The Real Anglo Catholics will be heading to Rome soon and others to follow, once they finally realize that there is no other place to be to claim to be Catholic. Many follow the faith and always have, but have been taught there is no need for the papacy. Will maybe not, but what you get is TEC or the CoE.

By the way going from Hart’s speech I would say he is pretty anti Catholic.

He uses his website to denigrate the character of Anglicans who have chosen to become part of the Ordinariate. He uses their names, one in particular is a priest who I know as the most pastoral and caring priest.

He won’t post any responses on his website unless it agrees with him after making foundless accusations against the Catholic Church and Anglicans heading that way.

I have tried to post there several times just asking that he show some charity and only once did he post part of what I stated out of context.

He is constantly watching what the pro Ordinariate website is stating and attacks the thread and posters.

It appears now he has turned to other Anglicans, but I haven’t read any of the posts, just the title.

Personally I accept the decision of any Anglican who chooses to stay in TEC or one of the Continuing groups. Of course many Anglicans wish that others would follow them if they feel they are making the correct choice, but they don’t attack the ones who are of a different opinion.

From what I have read from several sources it seems as Satan is trying very hard to stop the establishment of the Ordinariates, this just proves to me that the Holy Spirit is spearheading the movement.

I think that the US if the most fortunate of all the countries involved as there appears to be more opposition in other countries. I believe in freedom of religion and it is obvious that some don’t.

That about says it all. Anyone can set up a website and say just about anything they want, but if it for the purpose of trying to destroy others good name and they claim to be Christian I find it difficult to accept, as by their fruits you will know them. I have also seen some uncharitable remarks on another pro Ordinariate website which has attacked a person on the other due to a personal disagreement. I don’t support this either.

There are some who have gone Orthodox. I have attended a few times and they have been at Antiochian Orthodox Churches, Western Rite, which is actually just the Anglican Missal and prayer book liturgy, with a few changes. For me they seemed less Anglican Use than the Catholic Anglican Use liturgy.

I recall at one the people were all over us to join them, they were a very small group. At my former parish when we left TEC, one of our priests went Orthodox and took some people with him.

For me I love the Catholic Church and hope someday to have an Anglican Use parish to attend, but if not I would never become Orthodox. I just don’t see that they are united in the way the Catholic Church is.
