In the JW’s New World Translation of the Bible, this passage reads “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was A god”. They’ve had to retranslate the passage this way in order to support their belief that Jesus is NOT the Son of God, but in fact, the Archangel Michael.
