Would be a mortal sin if one really intends this act seriously and with full reflection is present and full concent is given. Seriously, when I was a mere child, especially attending Stations of the Cross, I was often moved to tears by the how terribly God the Father had treated Jesus, especially after Jesus had trusted Him so much…It did not seem like the act of loving Father, so I suppose I made adverse moral judgement against God. This was before I ‘knew’ theology, of course.

Wrong. See #117 and following in the Catechism. It would be more proper to say that the Catechism teaches the truths necessary for salvation. Certainly the Scriptures are a valuable source but it is the Holy Spirit working through the Magisterium of the Church that interprets the Scriptures and indeed the Tradition of the Church is the primary source.

Nowhere in that passge did I find anything that said anything like: the bible does not have all the truths necessary for salvation. Of course, you are correct in saying that we need the church to interpret the bible, but the bible still has all the truths necessary for salvation.

At that age you were still learning. I hope you don’t let the past " errors " worry you. We learn bit by bit according to circumstances and ability. The older we become the more we are supposed to be aware of the truth of things. And in the end we still have human failings, we will never be perfect. But by the time we are adults, under normal, circumstances, and as lifetime Catholics or Christians, we should have learned enough about moral truths to be aware of most overt situations which could be or are actually sinful. But everyone is different and full awareness comes to each at different times.

Non-believers have no right to object.

Thank you for the laugh of the week! But why stop at “non-believers”? Even among catholics there are serious debates about God’s attributes. Not to mention other “non-catholic” christians. Do they have the RIGHT to object? What about non-christians? What about their RIGHT to dissent? Don’t be so bashful… tell us what you REALLY think.

But let me make a concession: Get God down here, and get him to declare who is right and who is wrong. I will accept his word. But yours? Nope. You have no credibility.

Can we pass moral judgment on God, or are we really simply passing moral judgment on Nature, Fate and the Universe?

We cannot due to lack of understanding and information. And if we somehow had this understanding and information and would fairly judge him, the result would be that he is good.
