Thoughts? No. Well, maybe just one. Who in their right mind gives a care about Bush’s toileting habits? I know I don’t. :rolleyes:

There’s people out there who will look at the photo and think
“Hey…this guys supposed to be meeting with the world’s leaders and all he can think about is going to the bathroom?” :rolleyes:

That’s the type of person this “news” is supposed to appeal to.

Nevermind that everyone knows when you really gotta go…then you REALLY GOTTA GO!
 
I don’t see why the whole world needs to know about Bush’s urge to relieve himself, just like any other human.

I personally don’t give a s**t (bwahaha).
 
It really reminded me of something 6th graders would do.

PS-I did not mean to offend any 6th graders out there by comparing them to the media. 😉

This is nothing to take offense at. The president is human, just like the rest of us.

My thoughts: “WHO CARES?!”
 
Is it news? No.

Is it celebrity exploitation, in the vein of paparazzi photos? Yes.

Is it amusing? Yes.
 
Ahh, this falls into the category that my mother disdainfully referred to as “bathroom humor”. :hmmm: Boys age 6 to 8 tended to be most fascinated with bathroom humor. She was very intolerant of bathroom humor among her large brood.
 
I agree with Lachiara that 6-8 year old boys have bathroom humor. I have such a boy myself, and the word “poopy” can send him into gales of laughter.

I would disagree that this is an example of bathroom humor. I don’t think it is news, but it is strange to think of our president writing a note to his Secretary of State saying he has to use the bathroom. The need for the bathroom isn’t weird–it’s the note to Ms. Rice.

I think there are many in the press that would do any and everything to embarrass the President. This is silly, but one more example.
