That statement above is the only reason I struggle with the Book of Revelation.

I have no choice but to accept it; as it is in the Bible. However, I take it on faith.
My fathers’ response when I brought up the Book of Revelation and Book of Genesis as a kid is this," What is a Day to God?" I thought I was being clever by bringing up geology and evolution. Lol, he blew that out of the water.
