The prophecies of st.malachy was failed

their are two things which st,malachy prophecies was failed.

1. he stated that the next pontiff after john paul II comes from benedictine order(a priest,bishop and cardinal from benectine sect or order). not a name benedict by itself.name benedict is not the same from benedictine order which st.malachy mention.
   
   so, cardinal joseph ratzinger was not a benedectine order,he is from other order not a benedictine sect.the 1st prophecies was failed.
2. he stated that next pontiff after john paul II is called "glory from olive "?which means from olive threes also known as kingdom of olive or plants (olive three is an italian plant)so,in other words it come from italian cardinal.like archbishop of flrorence,milan etc…st.malachy mention that it is an italian cardinal(he refer to the cardinal from italy) which come from benedictine order with the name from the "glrory of olives ".
   
   pope benedict XVI was not an italian he is a german again so,by that alone. st. malachy’s 2nd prophecies concernig the next pontiff after john paul II was failed .

this is reminder to us that GOD does not allowed to happen.he doesn’t want that his church was fall into the pit of darkness.he may send a good shepperd to his sheep.“POPE JOHN PAUL II CHANGE THE COURSE OF HISTORY AND GOD AVOID THE PROPHECY OF ST.MALACHY.”

we should trust god and be not afraid.no one knows the end not even his angels…st.malachy prophecies was a warning that we trust and call god for his guidance.

The so-called Prophesy of St. Malachy is not officially approved by the church. Nor does it go into much detail. Our current Pope, His Holiness Benedict XVI, could very well fit the prophesy.

It merely states the next pope is called the “Glory of Olives”, very vague. The name chosen, Benedict, could very well be a fulfillment. Or if our Holy Father has a plan of reconciliation and peace (Offering the Olive Branch), that could be a fulfillment.

Really? When did he say that?

All St. Malachi said about this Pope is “Gloria Olivae”. Anything in addition to that is someone else’s guess as to what that name meant.

You need to get your facts in order before you post. St. Malachi did not say anything about this Pope; he only gave him the name “Glora Olivea”. Eveything else you have read has been someones additional interpretation of what they think the name means.

Yes, but the final prophecy is pretty specific:

*“In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.”

*I don’t know about you, but if the successor of Benedict XVI is an Italian who chooses the name Peter II, I’m selling all my belongings and heading for Rome. What better place to be on the Day of Judgement?

The alleged prophecy of St. Malachy O’Morgair immediately after “De Laboram Solis” is simply “Gloria Olivae”, nothing follows. The following words that followed “Gloria Olivae”: "In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit Petrus Romanus, qui pascet oues in multis tribulationibus: quibus transactis ciuitas septicollis diruetur, & Iudex tremêdus iudicabit populum suum. Finis." was allegedly inserted at some way later date. But still you could not read anywhere any mention of the name or about the name “Benedict” nor of any Benedictine order nor of the name “Olivetans” in the prophecy. It was St. Benedict, not St. Malachy, who allegedly made the claim that the pope who would succeed “De Laboram Solis”, who many have identified as Pope John Paul II, to come from his order in reference to the prophecy.

Again, St. Malachy did not state that an Italian cardinal would become “Gloria Olivae”.
