Mainly because the first topic you posted contains a presupposition that not all Protestants would hold to; namely, that Scripture being our ultimate authority must be explicit in Scripture to be true.

The problem with fighting Protestantism is that it requires Protestants to be patient enough to review much of the history of Christianity. It’s time-consuming. While they can simply flip through the Bible, using it to attack the Church, quoting it out-of-context, we have to painstakingly retell the 2,000-year-old story of the Christian religion. In terms of simple argument, they have the advantage, *unfortunately. *😦

That’s why I worded it as I did.
Since a majority of Internet Protestants seem to be Sola Scriptura types Scripture is all they can use to prove their point.

I can be patient and I presuppose that the difficulty is on their side since there is no where in Scripture that says such a thing as us it exclusively

Conversion comes by way of the Holy Spirit. It happens in God’s time as well as the recipient of the graces to be called ot it. Creating a blog for the sake of berating Protestants is not a positive thing. Maybe you should learn to allow the Spirit to move you one by one topic by topic.

I’m not berating anyone, I was a Protestant once. Sometimes I think people can be to timid. If you have an idea for a challenge than feel free to let me know.

I practice Christianity in the Churches of Christ for 17 years. I’m quite aware of the challenges they face. What I’m saying is to go easy on them. Pushing them like some push us and others is disordered…that’s a quote from several different priests. We must evangelize, but not proselytize. I’m not sure what you’re doing. But I’m on a different board dedicated for former members of the faith we all were part of and now we’re all Catholic with a few exceptions. Currently, we’re dealing with someone that popped out of nowhere and is declairing all kinds of typical non-sense from our previous faith… Little things …like…you going to hell. What can I do the bring you back home…etc. I’ve personally had my fill of that life. I do not want to become someone that is constantly attacking…or looking like I’m attacking others. It must be done peacefully and with a gentle heart in Charity. Let God do His stuff on them.

That’s all I’m saying. Hand out pamphlets to those living in apartments and invite them to chruch with you…especially the Catholics living there. That’s an idea. Maybe start a website like this and put apologetics or a discussion board with hard rules …unlike this board…that won’t allow anti-Catholics to proselytize on there. It might work well to give it a slant of a safe place to go without feeling pressure. brainstorming.
