In addition to this definition of heresy, what must happen for one to be a heretic? Is someone a heretic because our OP claims so? Or must something else happen? (yes)

Just to be precisely clear, are you claiming that non-Catholic Christians are subject to canon law?
No one is disputing what baptism is doing, we are disputing your self-authoritative claim that modern day protestants are heretics when the Church does not agree with you. (where does that put you on your heresy meter?)
