The Protestant's Mary...

There are many things in The Holy Bible that Protestants don’t do. For example, when Jesus healed a man, Jesus told him to tell no man but to go see a Priest and to do what the Priest tells him to do. When a Protestant is healed, they don’t go to see a Priest to make the offering that is required of them by Jesus.

But what I think Mickey was referring to was when Mary interceded on behalf of the wedding party when notifiying Jesus that there was no wine and Jesus made more wine (because even though Jesus is God, He cannot contradict Himself…He must as man obey the 4th Commandment and obey His own mother).

Mary approached Jesus with a problem that the participants at the wedding feast had, Jesus rectified it.

The wedding feast can also be seen as a precursor to the wedding feast in Revelations in that those who approach Mary, the mother of God made man (Jesus) may have their requests heard from the womb that bore Him.

If your mother asked you to do something for your sibling (assuming that you have brother and/or sister), would you deny your mother if the request was worthy?

Do you think that your mother would ever ask you to do something that was wrong?

Sadly, some mothers would definitely ask you to do something which was wrong. Mary is DEFINITELY NOT one of those mothers!

The Scriptures teach us that a when a Holy person prays, it carries more weight with God than the prayers of the unholy.

Let’s say that human beings fall in between Satan and The Saints on the levels of holiness. Who is more Holy of humans than The Saints?

Wouldn’t the prayers of a Saint carry the most weight with God and availeth the most?

So, if one can come to accept all of these elements as truth, then one can believe that if one asks a Saint to pray for them (Rev 8:3/5:8, for they are in heaven praying for us), then their prayers would be dearest to God as they have already proven themselves by being Sanctified and in Heaven.

I believe that Mary’s prayers carry alot of weight with God and that God trusts her judgement. Think about it…He trusted her with the life of His own Son.

James 5:16
