I just saw that equal marriage was passed into law in the UK this Wednesday. Stephen Fry, gay icon, is quoted as tweeting "‘Thanks, Your Majesty, for the Royal Assent. You soon won’t be the only married queen in Britain. Hurrah, hurray hurroo!’
