The purposes of God?

I am experiencing leg pain and spasms in both legs the past day or so. I know about the physiological causes, or at least the likely causes. However, I am wondering if the pain could be part of either redemptive suffering or chastisement for sin. Has anyone experienced physical pain and or trauma and it brought about God’s will in your life, to be restored and transformed?

In fact, all suffering is offered to us to be redemptive when offered in union with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Therefore, the purpose would then be to transform us even more into to living images of God and the result of this is to be restored (whether that be now or later we need to leave up to God). Best advice: offer it up! 😉
