I liked that utube video about the very old book that you mentioned in post #91(?). It is great news for every one. That book is very old. We knew James to be the brother of Jesus. But some people are saying that he was a cousin.
We cannot believe whatever these Catholics are saying. Because they do not believe that Mother Mary had any other children beside Jesus. But we read in the bibleNT that Jesus had brothers and sisters… See Mathew ch. 13:

- Is there only one verse? ONE VERSE? as opposed to the numerous others that contradict it?

MrDickerson, I do not know whom you are addressing. It must be to some one who left Islam and became a Catholic. In Islam, in Quran, there is no permission (or order) to kill any apostate. (Unless he was an apostate and murderer, or an apostate and rapist i.e involved in multiple crimes.)Hopefully you could come back to Islam just in time to avoid getting your head chopped off for apostasy.

Brothers and sisters, we should set aside our Religion for the Spirit of True Unity and Peace. . . You have your own Faith, we have our own Faith, so why we are arguing each others faith. RESPECT, THATS the word that would heal our differences. . . If we will continue in discussing our Religion this will lead to deepen again the wounds cause by our faith. . . . We shouldnt look to the Religion of each other, be a way of true UNITY and Peace. . . . Moslems didnt believe in the Bible and Christians also dont believe in the Quran, so be it. Lets put it there, but we must think first our Relationship with each other, we Are all children of God! We are all came from God. So why we’re fighting each other. I know the Quraan is not corrupted by several means…
I can’t say the Quraan is corrupt because I just don’t see any proof for the corruption. However, what I do see, is a history where people devoted their lives to memorizing it, practicing their recitation, etc. Due to these reasons, I believe the Quraan is 100% word-for-word the same as it was during the time of Muhammad, sallallahu alayhi wa salaam.
And, I am not a Muslim either, so certainly I can’t be called biased! Lol
- The Quran is a book that the entire thing can be recited. All of it. Every verse. Changing even a word can change the whole flow of the book. It it was changed, we would notice these things.
- The early Muslims quickly memorized the Quraan
- Not only did they memorize it, but it was taught all throughout schools and all over. Tajweed is an entire science dedicated to basically teaching recitation/memorization, and it has existed since Islam came around.
- Early scholars(like Abu Hanifah, Imam Shafíi, Ahmad Hanbal, etc) have all quoted the Quraan and the verses they quoted are exactly the same as today. Not even a word different!
- There just isn’t any proof of corruption! With the Bible, you have thousands of manuscripts with differences in them. Even the Greek Septuigant has some major differences in it that show they were using a different manuscript. There are omissions in some manuscripts, and additions in others.(Such as the story of the adulteress.)

In the gospel of Apostle John 20:28-29, And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My LORD and My God!” Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have Believed. BLESSED are those who have not seen and yet have Believed. Again, Jesus didnt correct Thomas when he called Jesus as Lord And GOD. Thus Jesus is truly Son of God, the Son of Man, he is also God!

From a Christian’ perspective you are right. The Quran reverts back to the dark days of pre-Messiah. It undoes what Jesus had done. In that sense it is Satanic. The one thing Satan does not want is for Jesus to die (on the cross). Thus when Peter said that he should be given to the Sanhedrin to be crucified Jesus picked him out right away, “Get behind me, Satan”. It was Satan who said that through Peter. Jesus nevertheless did die and won the victory and those who believe may be saved. Satan is a destroyer of life who still works very hard with lies so that there will be people who would not believe. Unfortunately the Quran for all its acclamation fit this objective of Satan.
