So, I just started a “Modern British Novel” class, and this is one of the books.
Er, not to sound like a worrywart or anything, but this book looks a little “explicit”, especially for its time.
I know this is standard fare for a course like this…
Could someone who has read the book tell me a little about it? I just don’t understand what I’m supposed to be getting out of this. I do try hard to avoid “suggestive” stuff in my personal life; I’m rather annoyed that I have to be stuck with it at school.
What do y’all think of the book?
