What does the Catholic faith say about these two topics that protestants firmly belive in?

Not all Protestants beleive the same thing about those two things. I want to point that out before we go any farther.
If by Rapture you mean that Jesus will pull the Church out before he returns and judges, the Catholic Church, and most non-Catholic groups, teach that this is incorrect and unBiblical. If you mean that in the end, those who have not died will not die before the judgement, we are cool with that.
If by Tribulation, you mean the time after the Rapture and before the Final Judgement, it is the same as above.

And some of us don’t particularly care. After all, it’s not my place to know when the end comes (in fact, we’re prevented from knowing) and I’m sure not going to sky-watch for the rest of my life.
