Does the Church of Doreen have Apostolic Succession in a continuous unbroken line that is physical, through hands-on ordination, spiritual via a consistent doctrinal teaching and development, and historic – traceable across the face of the planet for 2000 years?
Great question, Mercygate!

Nope, she doesn’t have that…she has been “breathed on” directly by the Lord, Himself. Praise God!

The Catholic Church has rejected premillenialism, including the pre-tribulationist notion of the rapture of the church - i.e. the Tim LeHaye version of the Parousia. The Church teaches that Christ will return to judge the living and the dead, and that at his coming we will be caught up into the clouds with him where we will remain forever. But the Church rejects the notion that this will occur prior to the time of the great tribulation.

The church has never beleived in a pretribulation rapture of the church plain and simple. The last day is the time of of the second coming where all beleivers will be cuaght up with him, this means the living and the dead (as in the catholic nicean and apostolic creeds). Something rapturiest conveniently leave out as tto divide comings of the lords where there is no division in the bible all this occurs on the last day.

I just re-read my post. Let me clarify - the Catholic Church does not teach the “rapture” as that term is understood in the “Left Behind” series. As Wisdom states above, this all occurs on the last day.

Christ does not return once for the “church” and then return again at the beginning of a thousand year reign, then return again for the final judgment. It’s one Second Coming only.

Sorry if my post caused any confusion.

-Peace

Perhaps, I’m sure many would.

If a host turned into actual flesh and blood during a Mass, would n-Cs change their theology?
Brilliant!
