Do you agree that truth, goodness, freedom, justice, beauty and love are more precious and significant than anything else in life?

Whenever you use a term like most I think you will find a variance of opinion. Your list is a good one, but given a person’s particular circumstance they might at least temporarily alter such a list.

Yes, though I feel some can be interpreted very loosely, goodness, especially so.

One addition, “God”. He needs to be first on that list:

God, truth, goodness, freedom, justice, beauty and love are more precious and significant than anything else in life.

Two of our kind mated…many of our age followed suit to maintain the species, and then we will die.

What else is there…apart from faith i guess…

Why did God make me?

God made me to know him, to love him and to serve him in this world, so that I can be happy with him forever in the next.

👍
You are right, of course, but I preferred not to throw everyone in at the deep end. 🙂
All the most precious and significant aspects of reality converge in one Supreme Being.

Knowledge, love and action imply truth, goodness, freedom, justice, beauty and love. 🙂

Is that a reason or a cause? 😉
In actuality is is both. Most of mankind has an insatiable (at least at first)need to see little replicas of themselves running around. For this reason they seek to reproduce. It is a little piece of immortality because the species will continue beyond their lives.
Some do not have this drive to any great degree.

A need is hardly a reason if it is insatiable (at least at first)! It becomes an excuse because it is irrational and inconsistent. 😉

This interpretation is understandable as you seem to believe there is no real reason why we exist…

We exist because God is infinite Love, and His Love wants to share His Divine Life with us.

Jesus, who is God, came to show us the way.

(that is the short answer.)

To know, love, and serve God in this life and to spend eternity with Him after this life.

The main reason we exist is for LOVE

GOD THE FATHER

But in My Incommensurable Love I decided to create you because more and more creatures fit to be able to give them My Immense Love and to sustain and maintain them; I have not created you for My Pleasure, but for who gives receives the greatest pleasure in the simple act of Giving, that is how it is with you: Giving you to Me is the greatest, much, much more than what you treasure, or do you believe that it has value but it nothing, not even a gust.

So imitate him , over all the valuable and treasurable things you do and have, and give LOVE as GOD Himself gives on His sons and daughthers.

Welcome to the forum! 🙂

A good post but the large fonts and colours are unnecessary and distracting.

We exist to love and be loved. Everything is about love. God created us out of love. It’s explained in the first part of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
