If people believe in god’s then they believe in gods, so therefore polytheists not atheists. You cannot believe in A and not believe in A at the same time. They are contradictions.

If the term “god” means the same thing. A pagan god is something quite different from a monotheistic god.

Regardless. Paganism is still not atheism. At the very least, paganism is deistic, but it is not atheistic.

Polytheism is still not atheism, regardless of how the 'theo" is perceived in polytheism.
