I have read several reviews and I understand it’s very violent all the way through. This immediately puts me off, no matter how good the film is considered to be.
Of the recent releases, I recommend “45 Years” if you want to see a quiet, moving film with brilliant acting. Charlotte Rampling deserves Best Actress for her wonderful performance.
Saw it last night. Was only interesting during the very beginning and the tail end. Everything in between was a slow boil of Leo DiCaprio Survival Tactics.
