The rosary, Mary, confused

I agree with that, as well as the Lourdes miracles. To me there is just so much overwhelming evidence. Also another good big one was the one in Egypt which was said to be witnessed by 250,000 people.

I have made the first step forward I believe, and I’ve just bought a book called Praying the rosary with Pope Francis. I think in my mind, my mind is saying if I’m denying these events, I feel like I’m being disrespectful to God.
 
I think the more you pray the Rosary, the more you may feel comfortable with the apparitions.

Praying the Rosary gives you grace and insight and brings you closer to Jesus, through Mary.

I like that Pope Francis book too.

Yes, her shrine is near where I’m from, and I did a lot of research on her in old newspapers. Mostly because I was confused as to how someone who drew the crowds she did had been completely forgotten by the 60s and 70s.
 
I’m about 45 minutes from the Rhoda Wise home. I’ve been there a few times, and I was at the mass to open her cause for canonization at St. Peter’s in Canton where she and Mother Angelica had attended mass. What a beautiful church!

I also recently visited the adoration chapel at the Poor Clare monastery in Canton that Mother Angelica was a part of when it was established.

I’ve read the book “Her Name Means Rose” but it would be really neat to see old newspaper articles about her. The only reason I even heard of her was Raymond Arroyo mentioning her on a show after Mother Angelica had passed away.

There are photos of the apparition in Zeitoun which are really quite incredible. There have also been several other apparitions in Egypt in recent history.
 
I actually found her through the old CAF - somebody had her mentioned in their sig line.

If you look at her Wikipedia article, the main newspaper articles on her are cited in the footnotes. Some of them are linked and some of them are on Newspapers.com if you can get a free subscription, or if not ask your librarian to get them for you. Thousands of people visited this lady’s house and they kept coming even after her death. The crowd pictures in the book for the apparitions are pretty amazing too. It’s mindblowing to me that the diocese of Cleveland never talked about her at all. Edited to add, maybe that’s because her area became Diocese of Youngstown in 1943. I hope she becomes a saint.

I believe in all the Vatican approved ones. Those that the Vatican have not spoken on I try to stay away from.

By the way, the Vatican has approved Lourdes and Fatima and many others.
