Seriously?

So if someone online does not listen to another online person who says a priest told him to check out a link, by registering on a site. he is not a traditionalist?

I think that’s a strange statement.

I too would like to read, because I love learning, but I don’t join sites that easily and certainly not just to see an article.

But it’s possible JMJ may have registered. I’m just sayin’.
Found one in Latin my friend!

virtualrosary.org/

Click ‘Get virtual rosary’ and download it, its a few megabytes. It comes with a tonne of langauges including latin, I just prayed it. You click enter each time you finish a prayer. (I put the numpad enter key near my Rosary so I can promptly click it)

While praying it, I load up the website ourcatholicfaith.org/onlinerosary.html in another tab, it has repetitive Gregorian Chant that is absolutely beautiful while praying.

I never said he didn’t. I merely said that if he didn’t take a Priests’ advice to heart than he’s not much of a traditionalist.

It’s a great website. It was rated best Catholic site on the web, and is the fastest growing Catholic site on the web. I like Catholic Answers a bit more, but I love XT3. It’s surprisingly Traditional too, despite it being Australian. I’m not saying Australia is a horrible place, but it’s not known for Traditionalism, which the site and Father Flynn are. Imagine this: Father Flynn actually knows and can quote the Catechism! Remember when all the Priests used to be able to do that and didn’t think it was just for Bishops? Probably not, because that was not in our lifetime, unfortunately. Many Priests don’t take the Catechism seriously enough, sadly. However, this is starting to change, so maybe, just maybe, it will be like that again in our lifetime. 😃

Ha ha. You have this down to a science.

I checked it out!

This is great because I’ve wanted to start praying it in Latin. Now I’m even more motivated. Thanks!

No problem! I was praying it in Latin before, but now it is SO much easier!

I don’t know if someone mentioned this before, but if you like the Holy Land Rosary, that comes on EWTN, you can download it for free and put it on your smartphone if you like:

I wince at the mere name of the Holy Land Rosary. The accents, people, and speed are just too much for me. Every time I pray along with it I have thoughts of blowing up the south and those who change the Hail Mary (“Pray for me, a sinner”). Therefore, I feel a prompting from the Holy Spirit to steer clear of it even in the worst cases. The Rosary is supposed to bring joy and happiness, not thoughts of nuclear bombs. 😃

Hi Teutonic Knight!!

I think you are confusing the International Rosary with the Holy Land Rosary (led by Fr Pacwa) 🙂

I find the International one one distracting too.

What are you talking about, blowing up the south and nuclear bombs and all that? What’s all that about?

The International Rosary is led by a little girl with a horrid southern accent that makes me want to blow up the south. Plus, they pray way too fast, they completely mess up the Hail Mary, and all of the pictures and videos on it distract me from the Rosary. All in all, it’s best that I say it with the Nuns instead, lest I become a terrorist. 😃

However, it turns out I mixed up the International Rosary with the Holy Land Rosary. The Holy Land Rosary is really cool.

Oh, okay. I never knew Father Mitch Pacwa led a Rosary. I really need to see him pray it then, because I love Father Mitch Pacwa. Where can I find this link the person refers to?

Of course you love southern accents. You have one. 😃

And yeah, it annoys me that people take the thou’s, thee’s and thy’s, but I especially don’t like it because she changes the words to the second part of the Hail Mary: “Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for me, a sinner,” Not only does it make it longer (Which I don’t like because I pray very slowly in the first place) but it completely takes away any tradition from it.

Actually, the North beat the South- thank God. 👍

It seems more appropriate to use the singular when praying in private but when praying with others, the plural should be used ("…pray for us sinners…"). I agree with you about dropping the pronouns in reference to the Divine- I like praying the prayers in the traditional way that I was taught useing “thy, thee, and thou”. The late Archbishop Sheen had something to say about this, but I can’t find it on google.
