'The sabbath the goal of creation'. How awesome is that?

Reading Pope Benedict’s book ‘Jesus of Nazarath’ I was struck by his note that the the creation story reveals that the sabbath is the goal of creation.

This has stuck with me now a long time and rings incredible.

I always knew I love Sundays, now I realize I am imitating God WOW!

I know there are different definitions of the sabbath, but perhaps that is just in how you count it.

Wondering if any one wants to comment on this observation of Pope Benedict’s.
