Quite a good read, actually. At first I was slightly concerned that he was elevating scripture to the demi-god that it is in some denominations, but he correctly subordinated it to Christ present in the Eucharist. He might actually have been indicating the reason why scripture is the foundation of so many denominations: they lack Christ in the Holy Eucharist and then compensate by elevating scripture to supreme. A very satisfying conclusion, and an admonition to each of us that God cannot and should not be contained between the covers of a closed bible.
