I was just hearing about a flock of lambs near jerusalem used for the passover sacrifice. Does anyone have some info on this? Never heard of it before.
No, you are confusing two sacrifices that constituted lambs. Are you speaking currently? I thought that the passover sacrifice had to be performed at the temple. No sacrifice is permitted on the temple mount. In fact, no Jews are permitted on the temple mount for fear one of them might attempt to sacrifice. I am very confused.
I have heard that the flocks at Bethlehem were for Temple sacrifice. For that reason the Bethlehem shepherds, who were present at the lambing of the sacrificial lambs, needed to be present at Jesus’ birth.I was just hearing about a flock of lambs near Jerusalem used for the passover sacrifice.
