jermiah, was on the move with the temple guard and the ark of the covenant,
he was guardian of his 3 great grand daughters, the recently beheaded king of juda
also he had davids harp, the stone of the great father jakob,
and iside the ark there was mana, moses staff, and the 10 commands
they are written into a stone from the sky,
(meterite)
the mohamedins have thier stone from the sky, the walk around it.
it was some one elses before they took it by force.

moses and david are buried at gades, by the pillars of samson.
before alexander , go east , he takes sidan or tyer
and worships in what he calls the templ of hercules,
the phonicians(sidonions call it the temple of melkart,
but inside this temple there are no statues, ever just
two pillars and an alter
later
hannable at the head of his army, ready to go over the alps
stops at a temple he is 21 , a temple at gades
(moderen day cadetz, and in this temple there is jut 2 pillars
and no statues just an alter.
these pillars are samsons pillars,
samsoms pillars are about commitment
“the giving of ones life” for real
samson is the man , he was a great example
he was behind enemy lines, pretending to be with some girl.
while he foght on aginst the philastine,s
samson was a dannite, he was a nazirite,
what else did the dannites do,
the made the ark of the covenant,
the made the brass snake
both for moses.
and where ever they went in thier ships
(like it says in the old testament)
they would make more healing poles, brass sankes on staffs or poles
“for all who look at it will be healed”

it could be said that , someone might mistake the wanting to be like samson (ONE WHO IS LIKE THE SUN) for sun worship,
can you imagine
jump to 410 ad
a 16 year old well to do , young man
is taken from his familys estate in th middle of the night,
taken to a ship with other hostages, put into the boawl of a ship
to another land, where they speak another langwage
and he mad to watch sheep on some mountian in the middle of nowhere , a large mountian
and then he sees children kneeling in front of these
large golden ocular snakes on 12foot poles.

someone has a book coming out that has to do with some theory by sir isaac newton (i might be wrong on this) and about the dimensions of the temple of solomon being prophetic in some way.

in this book, it think he says where he thinks the ark might be found.

just read a little about it on world net daily news.

The Ethipoians are the only Church that has claimed to ever have the Ark of the Covenant. No one else has made that claim. I guess I am inclined to believe them since no one seems to be contradicting them, and they have maintained their story for over two thousand years.

An additional note, The churches of Ethiopia and Eratria (sp) both consecrate the Eucharist on altars containing replicas of the ten commandments. The new and the old covenants meet.
Yes. That is called a Tabot (Ge’ez tābōt). It refers to a replica of the Tablets of Law, onto which the Ten Commandments were inscribed. The word can also refer to a replica of the Ark of the Covenant. The word tsellat refers only to a replica of the Tablets, but is less commonly used.

Edward Ullendorf theorizes that the word may have come from the Jewish Palestinian Aramaic word “tebuta”, which in turn came from the Hebrew “tebah” (plural teboth), meaning ‘box, case, chest’. However, in the Bible, the word is only applied to Noah’s ‘Ark’ and to the infant Moses’ ‘basket’ of reeds/bulrushes, but not to the Ark of the Covenant, which in Hebrew is “'Aron Habrit”.

A tabot is usually 15 centimeters square (though the maximum length of 40 centimeters is more common, according to some sources), and may be made from alabaster, marble, or wood. It is always kept in ornate coverings to hide it from public view (generally, only priests are allowed to see the tabot).

An Ethiopian priest carrying a (veiled) Tabot on his head during the feast of Timket.

During the feast of Timket (aka Timkat, Amharic “Baptism”; aka the Theophany or Epiphany), celebrated on January 19 or 20, the Tabot, here symbolizing Jesus coming to the Jordan for His baptism, is reverently wrapped in rich cloth and borne in procession on the head of the priest.

David Buxton, in his work The Abyssinians (1970), describes another procession, this time during the feast of Gabra Manfas Qeddus (the 5th of every month in the Ethiopian calendar), an Ethiopian saint who is said to have been conceived and born on the same days as Jesus, and who subsequently lived for 562 years (!!), going to Ethiopia when he was 300 years old and founding a monastery there:
To the uninstructed onlooker the climax of the service came at the end, when the tabot or ark was brought out, wrapped in coloured cloths, carried on the head of a priest. As it appeared in the doorway the women raised the ilil, a prolonged and piercing cry of joy. At first the tabot remained motionless, accompanied by several processinal crosses and their attendant brightly colored canopies, while a group of cantors (dabtara) performed the liturgical dance so beloved of the Abyssinians. The dancing over, a procession formed up, headed by the tabot, and slowly circled the church three times in a counter-clockwise direction. Finally the tabot was carried back into the sanctuary; all was over and the assembly broke up.

i have seen shows about this place in ethiopia that claims to have the ark of the covenant. i would think if they would want to share the ark with the rest of the jewish community by letting the proper people verify they have it rather than just claiming to have it for 2000 years.

i understand that they have safeguarded it and protected it, if they, in fact, have it.

i tend to believe they don’t, but i could very well be incorrect.

Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich predicted that the two prophets of Revelation, Enoch and Elijah, would find the Ark and place the Eucharist in it, and carry it to Jerusalem.

they also fight the anti christ together and lose in the streets of
the great kings city,
all the while the whole world will witness this battle,
at its end the lord returns ,

but this is the ending,
this all begins with
the ark being found.

the rainbow is a symbol of gods covenant with noah,

the ark is a box of gold and ecasha wood,
you could call it a pot of gold, because it holds things
maybe not a pot of gold,
but rather
“THE POT OF GOLD”

are we looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

the phoniceans
they suddenly appear into history
as the 12 tribes leave egypt
1300 bc and basicly are gone from
sidan, by 500 bc
tho they are around at other places
carthage,
phonicean , is greek and it ment RED PEOPLE
it seems to accepted that this because of the use
of purple dye, found in sea molisk

i tend to beleive that names had alot more to due with
what people looked like,
like
essau -it means red–he had red hair
edom --means -red-- they were the tribe of essau they had red hair, they never went to egypt for hundreds of years,
they settled in edom, , petra, the port of ziongeber,

david another red head–
with his general moab fought a war with the edomites
and destroyed thousands of them
he even crossed the medatreanin chasing the last of the edomites . to sorrento

The nation was allowed to return and the Temple was rebuilt but the Ark was not permitted to return. In Jeremiah chapter 3 we read of a conversation which took place before the Babylonian captivity. God spoke to the prophet Jeremiah saying, “Go and proclaim these words toward the north and say, ‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the LORD; ‘I will not look upon you in anger. For I am gracious,’ declares the LORD; ‘I will not be angry forever. Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against the LORD your God and have scattered your favors to the strangers under every green tree [referring here to idol worship], and you have not obeyed My voice,’ declares the LORD. ‘Return, O faithless sons,’ declares the LORD; ‘For I am a master to you, and I will take you one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion. Then I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you on knowledge and understanding. It shall be in those days when you are multiplied and increased in the land,’ declares the LORD, ‘they will no longer say, “The ark of the covenant of the LORD.” And it will not come to mind, nor will they remember it, nor will they miss it, nor will it be made again’” (Jeremiah 3:12-16).

i have seen shows about this place in ethiopia that claims to have the ark of the covenant. i would think if they would want to share the ark with the rest of the jewish community by letting **the proper people **verify they have it rather than just claiming to have it for 2000 years.

i tend to believe they don’t, but i could very well be incorrect.
And the “proper people” would be who?

when mohamad was alive , there were hundreds catholic bishops
in africa, after moslem expanism there was lessthe a handfull,
one thing to take into perspective regarding islam and the ark of
the covanent, islam beleives that a very highly regard moslem
prophet will find the ark, and then all the jews will join islam.
i think this phrophet is known as the (MADI) or some name like that. it is all in the koran, you can also find it on utube,
look under the ark and islam.(endtimes)

personaly, i truely beleive if the ark was in africa , it would have been taken by force,
and if it was in africa like ive seen written here, and if these stories were true, it would make the prophet jerimiah s words
untrue,
jeramiah s book in the bible is the largest book , other then the pslams,
as we read jermiah , we will see that near the end of his writings
he is wearing a WOODEN YOKE, and this yoke is smashed
and broken by a false prophet, (the difference between a true prophet and a false prophet, is a true prophet SCOLDS, while a false prophet cosigns the peopls lies)
anyway after the wooden yoke is broken, JERMIAH sends his scribe BEROCH into the desert to fine the tribe of THE RICABITES, expert
IRON workers , whose family made the weapons for joshua,

and then we see jermiah has a IRON YOKE made to replace
the wooden one,
this yoke fits around the neck, I have the feeling that it was heavy,
and may have even been silver plated, and twisted with a rams head on each end,
jermiah wore this till the end of jhis days,
this being said, i think it would have been eye catching.

now at this point in time , jerimiah was gone from the great kings city, but where ever he went , the power of example went with
him, so what socity in the world around 500 bc started wearing
twisted metal neck yokes,

by the way , the best place to hide the ark, would be at the end of the known world.

recently , last month my son asked me to meet him in dublin
we are from philadelphia, and my son went in the peace co
to china after he graduated srycuse 2 years ago,

so i flew ti ireland , my fathers family are from there
the west coast county mayo, the maritine county, a place wher the speak gaulic, a very complex language.

anyway we met in dublin, a place where people seem to drink
and drink, and travel there to drink, so we left and headed west,
i was reading that at tara , a place wher the crowned kings,
that there had been 6 different international expadetions that dug
at tara for none other then the ark of the covenant.
of course they found nothing,
but what intreaged me , WHY DID THEY ALL DIG THERE"

as we went to my grandfathers home town near west port mayo,
i was reading about gold and metal works found in the shannon vally it was dated 900 bc, the oldest metal works in europe,
and it was not far from westport mayo,

when we arrived , i saw a mountian in the distance, 10 miles away from west port there was a huge mountian, it looked just like a pyarmid , they said it was the largest mountian in ireland
, i was reading a broshore about it , and it said that in the year
1230ad right after the crusades, 30 people were killed by lightning, on the mountian.
that seemed strange.
my son had flone a isralai flight out of hong kong, and it went to
israil then to ireland and he spent 4 days there and
he said he was readinf a plack near the wailing wall,
that was explaing that , once a year the high preist,
would enter the holy of holies,
in the temple and he would open the ark of the covenant,
when this was done , the other preist would tie a rope around the ankle of the high preist, because it was not uncomman that the high preist would die when he opened the ark, and they would have to pull him out, dead.
to be continued.

Yes, you’re talking about the Mahdi (the ‘Guided One’) here; however, the advent of the Mahdi is not a universally accepted concept in Islam and among those that accept the Mahdi there are basic differences among different sects of Muslims about the timing and nature of his advent and guidance.

In some beliefs, it is said that the Mahdi will find the Ark of the Covenant from Lake Tiberias (aka the Sea of Galilee).
personaly, i truely beleive if the ark was in africa , it would have been taken by force,

How could they make Jeremiah untrue?
jeramiah s book in the bible is the largest book , other then the pslams,
Not really. The second largest book in the Bible, after the Psalms (by chapter) is Isaiah, with 66 chapters. Jeremiah comes next, with 52 chapters.
as we read jermiah , we will see that near the end of his writings
he is wearing a WOODEN YOKE, and this yoke is smashed
and broken by a false prophet, (the difference between a true prophet and a false prophet, is a true prophet SCOLDS, while a false prophet cosigns the peopls lies)

Where did you get the part about Jeremiah sending Baruch into the Rechabites? Is it a midrash of some sort? 🙂

However, there is a chapter in Jeremiah (Jeremiah 35) where the prophet himself was told to go to the Rechabites and give them wine to drink. The Rechabites were people descended from a nomadic tribe called the Kenites who never drink wine, nor plant vineyards or build houses of their own and who adhere to the law laid down by their ancestor Jonadab (who forbade them to settle in cities like other Kenites but to remain following a nomadic lifestyle).

We have no mention of the Rechabites being iron workers, yet the word Kenite may have come from Aramaic qeni, meaning “smith”, and some have even postulated them to be a tribe of smiths, which would account for their relations with different peoples, among whom they would reside in pursuit of their calling.
and then we see jermiah has a IRON YOKE made to replace
the wooden one,
this yoke fits around the neck, I have the feeling that it was heavy,
and may have even been silver plated, and twisted with a rams head on each end,
jermiah wore this till the end of jhis days,

We do not hear anything about Jeremiah wearing an iron yoke; rather he merely says that:
12: Some time after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
13-14: “Go tell Hananiah this: ‘Thus says the LORD: By breaking a wooden yoke, you forge an iron yoke! For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: A yoke of iron I will place on the necks of all these nations serving Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and they shall serve him; even the beasts of the field I give him.’”
Thus, in context, it seems that the ‘iron yoke’ mentioned here is not a literal yoke (like the normal wooden one) worn by Jeremiah but rather a figurative one, which the Lord will place on the necks of the nations who serve the king of Babylon.

Yep, the Hill of Tara, isn’t it?

The Hill of Tara (Irish Teamhair na Rí, “Hill of the King”), located near the River Boyne, is an archaeological complex that runs between Navan and Dunshaughlin in County Meath, Leinster, Ireland.

It contains a number of ancient monuments, and, according to tradition, was the seat of ‘Árd Rí na hÉireann’, or the High King of Ireland. The most familiar role played by the hill in Irish history is that it served as the seat of the kings of Ireland until the 6th century. This role extended until the 12th century, albeit without its earlier splendor. Regardless, the significance of the Hill of Tara predates Celtic times, although it has not been shown that Tara was continuously important from the Neolithic to the 12th century. Current scholarship based on the research conducted by the Discovery Programme, however, indicates that Tara was not a true seat of Kingship, but a sacral site associated with Indo-European Kingship rituals.

During the turn of the 20th century, British Israelites actually excavated on the site (which may be the event that you are describing), believing the Ark is located somewhere inside that hill. The authorities actually had to step in before the hill is ruined by these excavations (which, given its prominent position in Irish history, would have been an unfortunate loss)!
my son had flone a isralai flight out of hong kong, and it went to

to be continued.
This is a popular story oft-repeated in many circles. Yet, this is actually erroneous since this story only dates from long after the destruction of Herod’s Temple in 70 AD. Biblical and historical evidence indicates that there was no rope, at least not in any common use.

Also, the High priest could only be dragged out if he died in the Holy Place (the chamber just before the Holy of Holies). In Solomon’s Temple, the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies is separated by a solid wall, with a door to pass through. And in Herod’s Temple, the veil separating the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies (the one which was torn in two during Jesus’ death) is made using different layers of cloth, and thus was very thick. These layers of cloth overlapped and made a small maze through which the priest walked, which would have been rather impractical if they have to drag the priest out.

And, since the Ark is popularly believed to have disappeared during the Babylonian invasion, the Holy of Holies in Herod’s Temple would not have contained the Ark. Indeed, the Holy of Holies is said to have only contained a block of stone (known as the Eben ha-Shetiyah, “The Foundation Stone”) at that time, where the priest would have sprinkled the blood of the sacrificial animals, since the Ark was said to have originally rested on that stone (and it was on the ‘mercy seat’ that the High priest used to sprinkle the blood of the sacrificial animals). When the High Priest entered on Yom Kippur, he set the fire-pan with its incense upon the stone and sprinkled the blood in the air, once upward, and seven times downward.

Did anyone else make the connection, or was anyone else surprised that the ethopian church, where the Ark may be, is dedicated to Our Lady? I thought this was interesting indeed. The Ark and our Lady, interesting combination.

The symbology of Apocalpyse Chapters 11 and 12 just popped into my mind.

There is a book, and I am not certain as to what it was called, written by an archaeologist (I think) whom spent years looking for it. The book is huge, far too much for me to have read. I gazed through it. What I got out of it is that he says the Ark came to be guarded by a particular group of people in the middle of some jungle in Africa, and has been ever since. I believe he has claimed to have been in its presence, though I am unsure on this point.
I think you mean “The Sign and the Seal” by Graham Hancock, a British journalist. He claimed to have found the Ark of the Covenant in Ethiopia, kept by a group of Ethiopian Jews.

It is a great read, whether you believe Hancock or not.

hi, 3 things

in the HIOLMAN BIBLE DICTIONARY
under the “rechabites” it mentions them as metal workers
and thier trade secrets.
also under “the book of jeremiah” it starts out saying- "this is the 2nd longest book of the bible, nex to the psalmsand the only one in the old testamnet that tells us some details of its origin.

and 3 - it is mentioned a few post back that in the book of of jeremiah- he says - no one will know where the ark is hidden,

now when it come to africa , saying they have the ark,
they may have a copy , but that is not the ark.
davids son king solaman had a son whit a woman from africa
and there was rumor that he took a copy of the ark back to his home land, if that was true and before jeremiah was born,
what did jermaih have,
jeremiah, hid the ark in a mountian, in 587bc,
and it has not been seen since, just like he said,
and when it does reapear, it will start a domano effect of events,
and the only thing holding that back , is the grace of god,
through the hand of the great lady (ND)

Alright, let’s see what the Holman Bible Dictionary says:
RECHABITES: Descendants of Jehonadab ben Rechab, who supported Jehu when he overthrew the house of Ahab (2 Kings 10:15-17). About 599 B.C., the Rechabites took refuge from Nebuchadnezazar in Jerusalem (Jeremiah 35:1). At that point, the Lord commanded Jeremiah to take them to the Temple and give them wine to drink. When he did so, they refused, saying that their father Jonadab (Jehonadab) had commanded them not to drink wine, nor to live in houses, nor to engage in agriculture. These regulations may have been intended as a protest against Canaanite religion or settled life in general, but more likely they protected the Rechabites’ life-style and trade secrets as itinerant metalworkers. Jeremiah contrasted their faithfulness to the commandments of their ancestor with the faithlessness of the people of Judah to the Lord.
As mentioned in my post above, the Rechabites were descended from a nomadic tribe called the Kenites. Now the word Kenite may have come from the Aramaic word qeni, meaning “smith”, and some (such as in here) have even postulated them to be a tribe of smiths/metalworkers. So this one is correct. However, there is no mention in Jeremiah of him commissioning a real iron yoke (as pointed out in that post, the ‘yoke of iron’ is more likely a figurative yoke that God will impose on all nations that serve Nebuchadnezzar).

As for the book of Jeremiah, while the book of Isaiah has more chapters than that book, Jeremiah is the longest according to the number of pages of text. So yes, I stand corrected.
and 3 - it is mentioned a few post back that in the book of of jeremiah- he says - no one will know where the ark is hidden,
Can you provide the passage/s where Jeremiah says such?
now when it come to africa , saying they have the ark,
they may have a copy , but that is not the ark.
davids son king solaman had a son whit a woman from africa
and there was rumor that he took a copy of the ark back to his home land, if that was true and before jeremiah was born,
what did jermaih have,
Allow me to elaborate.
That legend is from the Kebra Negast (The Book of the Glory of Kings), a 13th-century manuscript drawing on the Old and New Testaments, as well as some apocryphal works, describing the origins of the Solomonic line of the Emperors of Ethiopia.

The legend (bookended by an apocryphal debate between the 318 fathers in the Council of Nicea) describes how the wueen of Sheba first learned of King Solomon when her servant, the merchant Tâmrîn returned from Jerusalem. Hearing Tâmrîn’s report about Solomon, the queen was smitten, and said: “I love him merely on hearing.”

The queen journeyed to Jerusalem to see him and remained there for six months (cf. 1 Kings 10:1-13), where she declares “From this moment I will not worship the sun, but will worship the Creator of the sun, the God of Israel.

As she prepared to return to her own country, Solomon ordered a royal meal for them where they both made an oath not to take anything from each other by force. The King intentionally left his bowl of water next to the queen’s bed, so that when she awoke she would take a drink, thereby “taking” what was rightfully the king’s and breaking the oath. When Sheba realized the gravity of what occurred, she said to Solomon: “I have sinned against myself, and thou art free from [thy] oath.” The work continues: “He permitted her to drink water, and after she had drunk water he worked his will with her and they slept together.” He later then gives the queen a ring so that their child may identify himself to Solomon. Following her departure, Solomon has a dream in which the sun leaves Israel.

Nine months and five days after returning to Ethiopia, the queen gave birth to a son and named him Menelik. At the age of 22, Menelik traveled to Jerusalem to meet his father for the first time. There, at the hands of Solomon, Menelik became the king of Ethiopia. When the young man departed from Jerusalem, Solomon commanded the nobility of Israel to “give [to Menelik] their children who were called ‘firstborn.’” The clever ruler saw an opportunity to establish a second kingdom.

With this, Menelik and his new subjects departed for Ethiopia. But what Menelik’s companions failed to mention was that they had made off with the Ark of the Covenant from the Temple of Solomon, since they were upset at the idea of leaving Jerusalem. Indeed, they only told Menelik when they had reached “the water of the Ethiopia.” The news didn’t turn the young man back to Israel; instead he continued his trip with the relic under his protection. The journey of the Ark recounted in the work ends in Ethiopia after a brief stop in Egypt.

Solomon then discovers that the Ark is gone from his kingdom. The king attempts to pursue Menelik, but his son is magically (miraculously?) flown home before he can leave his kingdom. King Solomon then turns to solace from his other wife, the daughter of the Pharaoh of Egypt, and she seduces him into worshiping the idols of her land, which in turn leads to his downfall (cf. 1 Kings 11:1-13).

The prophet Jeremajah took the ark and hid it in the desert. It was never found again. It is believed by some* that ark was never found again because God commanded the angels to bring the ark to him so that he could have it for when the temple would be brought up to heaven. In its place God sent a new ark, made by almighty God himself to us. This new ark is Mary who carried the Lord Jesus. She is not the ark of the Covenant in the new temple in Heaven.

the ark is mentioned in the bible in
the books of joshua,
exodus, deuteronomy, hebrews, jermiah

in one passage in the deuterocanonical 2 maccabees 2: 4-10,
which contains a reference to a document saying the prophet
jeremiah “being warned of god,”
took the ark and the tabernacle, and the alter of incense,
and buried them in a cave on mount nebo ( deut. 34-1)
