Will there be new public revelation during the second coming of Christ?
 
The end of the world will take place when Jesus comes again. The final judgement will take place at that time.
As we pray in the Nicene Creed each Sunday:
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and His kingdom will have no end.
This is His eternal kingdom in heaven.

You can also read of it in the Catechism of the Catholic Church -see paragraphs 681 and 682.

We have the revelation of grace through Christ’s Incarnation, Resurrection and Ascension, which God prefigured after the Fall in Eden when He cursed the serpent (Gen. 3:15). We have no more need of public revelation for salvation. The second coming of Christ will bring the final revelation of glory, which He foreshadowed before his Passion on Mt. Tabor when He transfigured to speak with Moses and Elijah (Mark 9:2-3). Then salvation will be fully accomplished and glorification will begin.
 
I was referring to the MARK of the Beast, which will
eliminate poverty. There is a GREAT cry for the ending
of Poverty here in Canada and I am sure everywhere.

The beast symbolizes the various Roman emperors who persecuted the early Christians but mainly is a symbol of Caesar Nero (whose name in Hebrew has the numerical value of 666). The so-called “mark of the beast” is presumed by most scholars to allude to the coins of the Roman Empire that bore the image of the emperor.

You MAY be right, but how about the reference to
the Mark on the hands and forehead of the ppl,
I believe that the Mark is a Credit Card or Chip.
My POINT is that w/ the MARK one will never go
poor!!

The Protestant interpretation is that the above mentioned fire is the one found in Isaiah 66;15-16, and it appears to be the fire of a global nuclear war.
The conclusion is that the second coming of Christ is by means of the fire of nuclear war.

BEFORE the end of the world, there will be a WORLD ORDER
which will be ruled by the Anti-Christ, the Beast who will
have power over those believers in Christ who are still on
Earth after the Church formally is “taken away”. See
1 Thess 4:15-17
 
Thanks for your reply. My opinion is that it is later than we think: the anti-Christ has already come and gone. My reasoning is that the Messiah is the savior of the Jewish people, and, therefore, the anti-Christ would be, by definition, the destroyer of the Jews. And, as we all know, the great destroyer of those people was Adolf Hitler.
I apologize if this idea does not fit in with the scripture that you quoted. It does seem to fit with OT predictions.
 
Who are these scholars? Libelli are more akin to the Mark of the Beast than Roman coins.

Not stated there, but adherents to partial preterism, such as these in modern times are examples: Hank Hanegraaff, R.C. Sproul, Gary DeMar, Kenneth Gentry, also see the Haydock Commentary. Gary De Marr writes that Ellen Aitken, a professor of early Christian history at McGill University, held that “the majority opinion seems to be that it refers to Nero.”

I am of the opinion that the AntiChrist, the Beast will NOT come
until what restrains him(IE. THE CHURCH) is “taken away”!!

I am of the opinion that the Woman is the Church, our

Of course, some take it to mean the BVM,
I mean the Woman, but Paul seems to see
it as meaning the Church. See Gal.4:22-31

The second coming of Christ isn’t a public revelation? Like we need something else to go with it?
 
From a book i recently read:

The Nazis lined up about 500 citizens who were reported as believing in OT prophecy. The commander asked the group, “Anyone who still believes in Bible predictions, raise your hand.” All of this group raised their hand. The commander had ten of them shot on the spot. Then he repeated this question, shooting ten more who raised their hand. This went on until no more hands were raised.

In my opinion, Hitler was the anti-Christ, and he did take away religion from Germany and much of Europe as well.
