We pour forth water in abundance, (25) And We split the earth in clefts, (26) And We cause therein the grain to grow, (27) And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), (28) And olives and date-palms, (29) (Quran-80:25-29)

And say (O Muhammad SAW) to these polytheists and pagans]: “All the praises and thanks are to Allâh. He will show you His Ayât (signs, in yourselves, and in the universe or punishments), and you shall recognise them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.”(Quran-27:93)

Sounds a lot like the predictions of Nostardamus. I Don’t hold a lot of stock in that either. Jesus said that only the Father knows when that time will come. His timing is good enough for me.

Did you see the video. Nostardam i know not a prophet. Whereas, Muhammad pbuh is the last prophet. And it is a sign of doomdays which is mentioned in Quran and Hadiths. Well i am agree no body knows when it will come except Allah.

I watched nearly 10 minutes of it then skipped around for a few minutes more. Poor production and very amaturish in editing. I didn’t mind listening but the sound was so bad it was difficult. I give it a D- with no need to try and improve it.

I don’t know about other christians, jewish and muslims, but Catholics who are very much Christians in very sense of the word, live our lives as if judgement day comes at any day, any hour, any minute and any second. We look forward to it because there is so much in store for us by the promises we have in Christ Jesus.

This is nothing new since Jews and Christians associated bodily resurrection with the coming of the Hour before Mohammad and his Koran!

This verse testifies to the notion of abrogation in the Koran more than to the day of judgment.

Surah 54:1-2. The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain. And if they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion.

Nothing in these verses either explicitly or implicitly states that the moon was rent in twain by Mohammad! These are the opening verses of chapter 54, which mainly deals with the Meccan pagans’ denial of the judgment day. This apocalyptic sign supposedly presented by Allah himself does not aim to prove or confirm Mohammad’s prophetic ministry and authority. The people in question allegedly see this sign, but construe it as an illusion. Since the Koran does not claim this apocalyptic sign to be a miracle performed by Mohammad, the people witnessing the moon rent in twain do not accuse Mohammad of being a sorcerer or magician.

These verses are impertinent to your claims because they are not associated with the “coming of the Hour”.

And say (O Muhammad SAW) to these polytheists and pagans]: “All the praises and thanks are to Allâh. He will show you His Ayât (signs, in yourselves, and in the universe or punishments), and you shall recognise them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.”(Quran-27:93)

The comment in brackets indicate that the word Ayat has multiple meanings and connotations, and the commentators can only guess what that word actually means in the verse quoted. Besides, similar statements related to God’s knowledge, His wisdom, and their manifestation through signs are present in the Bible.

As far promises, Jesus pbuh will not save you from your bad deeds. What you think about this sceniro like if i commit stealing and you are to face it’s prosecution about my stealing. Is it make sense to you. So same with jesus he is not going to prosecute for your sins. Make sense right.

He already did…about 2000 years ago. That’s not to say that we should sin…obviously we shouldn’t. But it is by His grace and SACRIFICE that we are able to be forgiven and share in eternal life. I would equate it to someone threatening to put my child to death. Even if my child did something to deserve it, I would still stand in the way and say “no–take me instead!!” It’s that kind of sacrificial love. “Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”
