Sorry to bang on but gift? Do you mean a gift from nature, or God?

When I obey the civil laws I conform to the spirit of the law not the letter of the law which I am ignorant of. I am not suggesting we ignore details but I personally seek to find the perfection in the whole. The big picture so to speak.

Actually we could debate this forever and I apologise for raking over the coals.
