The SIn of Judas

I was curious guys, I was wondering about something. What is the culpability(Sp?) of Judas and the Sanhedrian(SP?) who killed Christ? The reason I am asking is that since it was phrophesied that they would do it how much control would they have in it since God said that they would do it. Does anyone have some insight that would help with this? Thanks and God bless.
 
Following that line would have one accept that Judas or anyone involved with His death had no free will. Judas could have said no. The fact that God spoke of his betrayal beforehand doesn’t change the fact that he still chose of his own free will to betray Christ. God, being eternal and viewing events via eteranl eyes, simply knew the outcome.
