this is the focus of my question. Had God really leave him when he slept with a prostitute?
 
Was she a prostitute? I forget now. Anyways, he married her, I think. Therefore, she would not be a prostitute any longer.
 
Judges 16,1 "16 Samson went to Gaza, and there he saw a prostitute, and he went in to her. "
 
Well, the answer is NO. He still had his power.

I think they just went on a picnic in the park, went out for pizza, stuff like that.
 
Hmm, but why did Bible call that woman “prostitute”? And why did they have to go picnic at night??
 
You are trying to say, because Samson had sex with her. He sinned in a big way, therefore, God should have taken away his strength. That simply was not what happened.

Like I said, it probably was the hair conditioner.
 
Anyways, I guess she was a prostitute. But then Samson took here as a wife. After that, she would no longer be considered a prostitute, unless she kept sleeping with men for money. The Bible seems to imply that she did not.

I think she was not such a bad woman, but weak. It was her tribe and family that put so much pressure on her that she finally said she would find out the secret.
 
Really? How do you know they both liked looking at the stars and Samson took her as a wife?
 
I read it in one of those gossip magazines some years back. I forget which one.

Because it is said in Romans 11:29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.Though he sinned God waited patiently for him to repent and come back,like he does for us and it use more important to keep the Philistines in check than his personal sin.
