I am having to go through a state which involves idea of grace and the importance of faith, I am just recovering from damage control since I had felt away from God with my studies of the church’s Catechism. was thinking of ideas like what is the point of faith you aren’t saved specifically by belief alone but by Faith through Charity. please pray for me so I can overcome such fears like "am I leaving the christian faith for a catholic one? is it the truth? what is Salvation then?

Sounds like you have many conflicting and erroneous thoughts running through your head.
Perhaps call the nearest Catholic church and make an appointment with a priest, who will know how to counsel you, perhaps taking RCIA classes.

I think I am going though my thinking phase, especially on john 3:16 and the ideas of Paul, They don’t contradict, but I am trying to figure it out on how it connects. (though thinking about it is helping me realise how it works), but thank you for your post.

thank you for you kindness, I was having the moment that to love the church would be to have less love for Christ, who freed us from our sin.

Christ founded the Church to help us and to keep us on the path. Countless Theologians, Saints, Popes, and even the Apostles didn’t’ know EVERYTHING there is to know.
It’s not just simply repeating or being able to quote John3:16. It’s about knowing what it means to live it out.
Our personal religious education is a lifelong process. Things will be revealed as you travel the road.
God bless.

Modern Catholic Dictionary
SALVATION. In biblical language the deliverance from straitened circumstances or oppression by some evil to a state of freedom and security. As sin is the greatest evil, salvation is mainly liberation from sin and its consequences. This can be deliverance by way of preservation, or by offering the means for being delivered, or by removing the oppressive evil or difficulty, or by rewarding the effort spent in co-operating with grace in order to be delivered. All four aspects of salvation are found in the Scriptures and are taught by the Church. (Etym. Latin salvare, to save.)
