Padre Pio helped many people by the power of God, and, as in this case, he gave help after he died. Padre Pio, a Capuchin friar, is one of the greatest Catholic saints of the Twentieth Century who is very widely venerated by Catholics. Pope John Paul II canonized him in 2002.
