I love St Benedict. Well, I was in the novitiate at a Benedictine monastery for two years, so he and his sister – Saint Scholastica – are dear to my heart.

It was great being a Benedictine because we got to celebrate two feast days for Saint Benedict – March 21 (the day of his death and the traditional feast day) AND July 11 (new feast day as of 1970).
