…so you are saying that they were simply men?These verses in Hebrew don’t say malak YHWH [messenger of the LORD, i.e., angel] but enowsh, men. Nor does the Greek Septuagint translation say aggelos [angel], but andres, men. So I don’t see a compelling reason to suppose any of the three are angels.
